About
About Guelph Windows
A direct booking line for one vetted, insured window and door installer working across Guelph and Puslinch.
Guelph Windows is a booking line. It is not a window manufacturer or an installation company and it does not pretend to be one. The site exists so that someone in Guelph with foggy glass, a draughty door or a renovation that needs new openings gets to one vetted, insured installer quickly, instead of filling in a form on a national site and taking sales calls for a fortnight.
What that means practically: the work is done by a window and door installer who carries their own insurance and WSIB coverage, measures every opening on site, quotes in writing, and is accountable for the job. Your details are not sold on and you are not put into an auction.
The site is careful about the rules because getting them wrong is expensive. The permit position is the City of Guelph's as published in 2026: new or enlarged openings need a building permit, and whether a given job falls inside that is the City's to confirm. The heritage position is the City's as well: a designated property, or one inside the Brooklyn and College Hill Heritage Conservation District, needs a heritage permit before window or door alteration, and the City prefers repair to replacement. The ENERGY STAR figures are Natural Resources Canada's current specification, and the rebate information is what Save on Energy publishes, which can change. Where something is for the City, the Township or the program to confirm, this site says so rather than guessing.
Some jobs are declined. Enlarging an opening without a permit, altering a designated property without heritage approval, and replacing sound original windows on a heritage house when repair is the better answer are all better turned down than started.
How this works
When you call 289-672-3485 or send the form, your details go straight to the window and door installer covering Guelph, not to a list and not to a call centre. Calls go to voicemail if the crew is on a job, which most of the day they are, and your message and number reach them immediately by text and email. Expect a call back the same day or the next working day. The next step is a measure, because a window quote without one is a guess: the visit records every opening, checks the walls and sills, settles glass and frame choices, and flags anything that needs a building permit, a heritage permit or a word with the Township. The written quote follows from that.
What we won't do
- Publish reviews we didn't earn. When we have them, they'll be real ones with names.
- Quote a firm price before someone has seen the job.
- Send anyone into your property who we would not have in our own.
